Cattlemens Tip-A-Cop Raises More Than $38,000 for Special Olympics Northern California
Inaugural event brings together Cattlemens teams, local law enforcement, Special Olympics athletes and communities across Northern California.
August 2026 — Cattlemens Steakhouse is proud to announce that its inaugural Tip-A-Cop fundraiser raised more than $38,000 for Special Olympics Northern California, thanks to the generosity of guests, local law enforcement partners, Special Olympics athletes and Cattlemens teams across eight locations.
Held on August 11, Tip-A-Cop brought local law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes into Cattlemens restaurants to volunteer alongside restaurant teams while raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Northern California.
In addition to donations collected throughout the campaign and during the event, Cattlemens hosted a Dine & Donate, contributing 20% of qualifying food and beverage purchases from guests who participated in the fundraiser.
The response from the communities surrounding each Cattlemens location was tremendous, with restaurants welcoming thousands of guests throughout the evening. Photos, videos and stories from participating law enforcement agencies, community partners, guests and restaurant teams continued to be shared online following the event.
“We were blown away by the way our communities showed up for this event,” said Miranda Smith, Director of Marketing & Communications for Cattlemens Steakhouse. “Seeing our teams working alongside law enforcement and Special Olympics athletes, and watching our guests rally around such a meaningful cause, made the evening really special. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our first Tip-A-Cop such a success, and especially proud that together we raised more than $38,000 for Special Olympics Northern California.”
Cattlemens extends its sincere thanks to Special Olympics Northern California, participating athletes, local law enforcement agencies, restaurant teams and every guest who dined, donated or helped spread the word.
The success of the inaugural event reflects Cattlemens’ continued commitment to supporting the communities it has proudly served for more than 55 years.
